Takara Hybrid is a special shishito pepper with small (3.5” by 1”) fruit and a mild but rich flavor. The compact plant has a well branched, mounding habit, short internodes, and has high production potential. The fruit uniformity is superior to OP strains. Expect maturity 60 days from transplant. Toss Takara with a tiny bit of oil and cook on the grill or in a pan.
