Red Snapper is easy to grow, thriving in most summer conditions and under many types of disease pressure. The plants are widely adapted and set well in the heat. Fruit are an attractive red color, smooth, glossy, firm and have a good flavor and shelf-life. Red Snapper plants mature about 70 days from transplant, are medium tall, and benefit from pruning. Red Snapper has a more manageable plant than most hot set commercial varieties with good fruit set potential.
