Hybrid Black Stallion is a traditional black Italian-type eggplant. It performs exceptionally well in the garden, producing abundant yields early and then continuously over a long period, even into cooler conditions. Uniform, 8-9″ long by 4-5″ wide fruits are blemish-free, with a particularly high gloss skin that resists fading. The purple-black fruits have a creamy white interior with few seeds and tender texture. Upright, well-branched plants provide good cover for prevention of sunscald. Matures about 60-65 days from transplant.
