Bunching Onion

Brigade is our latest Allium fistulosum type bunching onion, permanently replacing White Gem. The large, straight, upright plants show very dark green stems with a short, bright white shank. Plants show good uniformity and field holding and are easy to peel once harvested. Brigade exhibits stronger vigor and better tolerance to warmer temperatures than White Gem. It falls in the mid-maturity slot at about 65 days.
