Ceres is a traditional, 3.5 – 4.5 lb butternut for the fresh market that is ready to harvest in just 90 to 95 days from direct seeding. The creamy tan exterior is very smooth with no ribbing and the interior boasts firm, solid, dark orange flesh. Ceres has a vigorous plant habit with intermediate resistance to powdery mildew: IR: Px.
